Reports on visits to various British metal works
Three page report, two technical drawings, a leaflet and an information sheet attached with a paperclip. Full title of report: 'Examination of Corrugated "Carblox" Blast Furnace Carbon Hearth Blocks at Loxley: 25/10/46.' Also includes two technical drawings, printed in brown ink on white paper, showing the "Carblox" hearth blocks. Also an advertising leaflet for the Foster Carbon hearth, printed in black ink on white paper, with an illustration showing a section of the carbon hearth. Also included is a two page information sheet on the properties of "Carblox" for lining blast furnaces. Typed on headed paper (The Morgan Crucible Co. Ltd, London), dated February 1950.
