Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, oval, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim, curving into rounded sides flaring slightly at lip, lobed lip with six large and six small lobes, groove moulded sides; painted with three pink roses and a rosebud in the centre and an insect, six garlands of roses around the edge on a gilt dotted ground within gilt wreaths, and between gilt motifs; inner gilt band and line, and gilt scalloped lip.
