Spokeshave
A small hand tool used to shave the edges of wood and leather, and also to reduce the thickness of strips of leather. A steel blade held in a beech wood stock with two handles. The spokeshaw was placed on the piece of work and drawn towards its user or pushed forward. The blade could be adjusted to change the depth of the cut. 'D.Flather and Sons' stamped on a handle.
