Sauce-boat
Sauce-boat, deep cream-coloured earthenware with an uneven colour, standing on an oval domed moulded foot, a moulded ribbon around the foot-rim the ends of which cross over to the front of the foot, the body moulded in the form of a scallop shell with wide spout and moulded feather border around the exterior lip-rim, double intertwined handle with moulded leaves at the terminals; undecorated, left a deep cream colour with a yellow-tinged glaze.
