Cup, tea and saucer
Tea cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, cup standing on a foot rim, straight sides, curved inward at base, slightly evertee lip, C-scroll handle with scroll terminal; decorated in polychrome enamels, opposite the handle with dead game birds lying in a forest, pheasant in foreground, surrounded by an oval, ornamental, geometric border with circluar bead-like decoration in red enamel and gilt, gilt foliate decoration around upper half of border, one orange flowered sprig and one blue flowered sprig with a separate leaf either side of handle, spray with red poppy, yellow and blue flowers to bottom, gilding to handle, geometric gilt border of joined ovals to inner lip, gilt line border to lip edge. Saucer standing on a foot rim, flared sides, decorated in polychrome enamels, the centre with dead game birds, two hung up, five others lying on a table, window to right, surrounded by a circular border with bead-like decoration in red and gilt, gilt foliate decoration around upper half of border, geometric gilt border of joined ovals to lip, gilt line border to lip edge.
