Two handled cup of hard-fired coarse red earthenware, standing on a spreading base with rounded foot rim, elongated cylindrical body with pronounced throwing rings to lower body and neck, body tapering slightly at waist then flaring and ending in rounded lip rim; twin loop handles, the upper terminals spaced apart on the upper body, the lower terminals conjoined above the foot, giving a heart shaped effect; covered on the interior and exterior with a lustrous dark brown glaze; restoration to neck and mouth over painted in dark brown.
