Medieval pottery jug
Jug base and body (wall fragments)sherds. Large proportion of the thumbed sagging base has survived. Faint traces of a patchy, very worn pale green glaze and faint applied combing/brushing lines visible on the exterior surface of the body sherds.

Date: 1977
Notes: Found on a housing site. Reportedly recovered in late 1977 during building operations near St. Joseph's School, Tredegar Park. The discovery of the pottery was only reported after work on the site was completed and there appears to be no additional information available concerning the find-spot itself.
