Plate, earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim and curving spreading sides; decorated with to the centre of the well a polychrome transfer-printed showing a mountainous scene with in the foreground figures driving a group of cattle towards a small town nestling under several craggy mountains, to the bottom of the scene is printed the inscription "TREMADOC. N.W.", around the rim a transfer-printed border in fawn of groups of reclining classical figures interspersed with small vines, a gilt edge to the rim.
