News cutting re. reopening of Dolaucothi Gold Mine
A newspaper cutting containing a photograph of a man standing alongside a shaft entrance to the gold mine at Ogofau. Caption: 'Gold in West Wales 'The entrance to the shaft of the Ogofau Gold Mine near Pumpsaint, Carmarthenshire, which, it is stated, was one of the five chief sources of gold in the Roman Empire. There is every likelihood that a fresh search for gold will be made in the near future.' Not dated, probably early/mid 1930's.
