Shawl
Shoulder Shawl, fringed on 4 sides Colour: red, blue, green, orange on a natural background check design. Letter from donor on the history of the shawl states: I was pregnant in 1963 and worked in a shop, a regular customer ‘Mrs Jones’ who was 90 years old gave me the shawl. She was Welsh speaking and told me the shawl belonged to her mother before her. I think I remember but can’t be sure that she mentioned ‘Builth Wells’. She was a lovely lad who liked a chat! I used the shawl for many years, for my son, grandchildren etc and treasured it. Mrs V.L Moss (1/09/2009)
