Baker, Bevans and Irwin, Glamorgan Pottery (1813-1839)
Cup, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading slightly waisted foot-rim, the lower body concave, the upper body with cylindrical flaring sides, ogee handle; transfer-printed in black with to the exterior sides of the body a rural scene showing three figures holding a fishing net by the side of a river with a boat pulled up besides them, buildings and trees in the background, a black band around the interior sides of the body and a black band to the interior lip-rim, a black anthemion and further black markings to the handle.
