Figure of a Welsh man, stained ivory porcelain, standing on a flat base moulded to resemble floor tiles or bricks, the figure supported behind by a short rectangular rock, the figure wears a stove-pipe hat, green neck-tie, flowered waistcoat, pink-lined coat, knee-breeches, stockings and gilt shoes, over his left shoulder he carries a gilt sack, the figure is coloured using glazes of delicate soft shades, with the base coloured a yellowy-pink shade and much of the costume coloured a pinky-orange shade with gilt edging.
