Wooden doll, Indian, c.1880
Wooden doll painted white. Black and red painted eyes with red forehead dot and lips and a black painted nose decoration. Wearing a painted wrap dress of red with blue criss-cross design with white dots. A painted bodice of green with white dots and yellow sash. Hands and arms carved into torso and clasped at front. Black and white head covering with red and green band. Face has paint losses and wear.
