Roman copper alloy plate brooch, enamelled
Bronze brooch or mounting in the form of a boar or pig with a central circular aperture. The body is inlaid with blue enamel, with two circular settings of white enamel towards the head and a single setting of white and red enamel in concentric bands (centre missing) towards the tail. There is what could be a pin-catch at the back but no pin.
