Under a church-like canopy, the martyrdom of St Thomas Becket. Four barons armed with swords accost the archbishop, an uncertain object (perhaps a head) held in his left hand. In field above, the martyr's soul rises to heaven. In base, under a rounded arcaded arch, an abbot in prayer.
