Jar of coarse red earthenware, standing on an uneven base, straight, flaring sides ending in a broad, everted lip; two concentric lines incised near base of body and three broadly incised bands below lip rim, giving ribbed effect; broad drip of thin, clear glaze down one exterior side, completely glazed interior and lip rim, some damage to upper section with one section of lip missing.
