In a large central niche with ogee arch, the four barons dexter, bearing swords, appproach the saint who stands at a prie-dieu holding his primatial cross in his right hand, ? a book in his left hand. Between them a monk kneels in prayer. In lateral niches, a crowned king standing and bearing a sceptre (perhaps for Edward II who granted the city its charter and seal). In base, under a carved arcade with central ogee arch, Our Lord half-length, lifting up His right hand in blessing, an orb held by His outstretched left hand. In field, above the canopy, to either side of the central spire, dext. A crescent, sin. A mullet.
