Cup, soft-paste porcelain, rounded waisted foot-rim, cylindrical sides, ornamental handle; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the exterior body a rectangular panel containing a coastal landscape with buildings and small boats on the sea, the panel enclosed by a gilt border, a border of polychrome foliate scrolls around the rest of the exterior upper body, gilt bands around the upper and lower exterior body, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, soft-paste porcelain, rounded foot-rim and curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a rectangular panel containing a coastal landscape with two small figures and a large ruined building, the panel enclosed by a gilt border, around the sides of the well a border of polychrome foliate scrolls, a gilt edge to the rim.
