Late Bronze Age spearheads
fragments of two. Socket and the split lower part of blade of a hollow-bladed, pegged (rivetted) spearhead, with part of another hollow-bladed spearhead forced into its socket. The base of socketed spear blade (31.62/20) has been deliberately and repeatedly struck with a narrow bladed object; visible as short, but deep indentations on both sides of the spear.

Site Name: Crowther's Camp, Guilsfield
Date: 1862
Notes: Found during the digging of a field drain, packed tight as though originally deposited in a perishable container, on the south-east side of Rhuallt, 100m from Crowther's Camp, an Early Iron Age hillfort, near Guilsfield.
