Dish, earthenware, oblong dish shape with rounded-off corners, flat base, curving sides and spreading rim, eight lobed and notched rim; transfer-printed in blue with the 'Willow' pattern, to one side of the design three figures cross a bridge with a boat in the background, to the other side is a willow tree with a pagoda and further trees beyond it and an zig-zag oriental fence in the foreground, two birds fly over the scene, a broad border to the well of atlternating panels of criss-crossing lines and panels of diaper pattern, a broad diaper border to the rim with elaborate floral scrolls, wheel shapes and geometric designs.
