Hunting jacket
lady's hunting jacket of navy blue woollen twill; 4 brass buttons down centre front (lowest button missing); button holes hand-stitched with black thread (rest is machine stitched); 4 applied pockets with flaps (black cotton twill used as lining & interlining) each flap fastened with one brass button (button on lower pocket, proper left, missing); 2 button fastening at cuffs; all buttons embossed: 'HOH' (Hawkstone Otter Hounds); centre front buttons larger than buttons on pockets and cuffs: 2.2cm versus 1.5cm in diameter; inside lining of brown synthetic (?) twill; 23cm long vent at lower centre back; undyed linen tabby interlining.
A case of light blue soft plastic and a piece of aluminium foil were found inside the lower proper left pocket. The case contains a folded, clear plastic 'Rain-hood' with white cotton twill ties that have been heat-sealed to the plastic. The blue case is printed with gold lettering: 'Rainhood' and a picture of a lady wearing the hood on one side and 'Joseph Winter, International Hairstylist, 11, High St. (opposite G.P.O.), Tel. Newport 63029' on the other side.
A piece of aluminium foil was also found in the upper proper left pocket.
