Figure of Jenny Lind as Alice, white earthenware, slightly blue tinted crackle glaze, some firing speckles in fold on lower part of body, kneeling on an egg shaped plinth inscribed in gilt script. Figure dressed in a full white skirt decorated with a small pattern of orange and green, and pink fuschia like motifs, wide green sash tied across chest from right shoulder and tied and pinned at waist, orange bodice outlined in gilt and with elbow length sleeves, brown hair, figure half kneeling facing left but with head turned to front, both arms upraised and clasping the base of a yellow and pink cross raised on a high pillar, pillar outlined in gilt and with a green aprt with red flowers at the base, three clumps of extruded green, pink and orange clay at base of cross and four growing up it.
