Plough
Made by donor's father, Owen Lazarus, in 1878, for use in ploughing matches. The mould-board is stamped 'Mellard & Co. Denbigh' and '3'. The share is the long type with side cap attached, the point is chisel pointed with wing. Coulter has a knee forwared and secured by 4 iron wedges. A plough hammer sits in ring on iron rod. There is also a skim coulter. With the plough and spare share, a coulter of same shape, also a straight couter a marking gauge, a smoothing boat, and an ? extra standard. Painted green and black with red wooden hand grips. Used 1901 - 5 by SEth Lewis.
