ECM: Llantwit Major; pillar cross (replica)
Quadrangular splayed shaft of a pillar cross, fractured near the top. Each of the four faces carries a vertical recessed panel framed by plain borders, decorated in low relief: A. Double-beaded eight-strand plait with four cruciform breaks placed to the right and left alternately down its length; B. Band of double-beaded interlace (B.6); C. Double-beaded six-strand plaitwork, with three Z-shaped breaks; D. Double-beaded four-cord plaitwork, possibly merging into plain cords towards the bottom.

Notes: Original monument formerly located in the parish churchyard, but is now located re-set in a modern plinth at the W. end of the western nave.
