ROYAL EMBLEM (4900gt) : Built 1940 by J.L. Thompson & Sons Ltd., Sunderland, for Hall Brothers Steamship Co., Newcastle. 1947 – Chartered to Australian Shipping Board, and spent most of the rest of her life in Australasian waters. She was broken up by Patt, Manfield & Co. Ltd., Hong Kong, in 1961. (TheSunderlandSite)
