Cup, hard-paste porcelain, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, flaring cylindrical sides, twisted loop handle with foliate moulding to the upper and lower terminals; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the exterior body the initial 'X' formed from garlands of miniature flowers, a swag of pink foliahe drapes across the initial, to the top of the initial is a wreath of miniature flowers, around the rest of the exterior sides of the cup are scattered sprigs of miniature flowers, a worn gilt edge to the lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, flaing sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well the initial 'M' formed from garlands of miniature flowers, a swag of pink foliage drapes across the initial, to the top of the initial is a wreath of miniature flowers, around the sides of the well are four scattered sprigs of miniature flowers, a worn gilt edge to the rim.
