Cup, coffee and saucer
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Coffee cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain with a white translucency, and speckled glaze; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, indented above, curved sides flaring at lip; high c-scroll handle closed above the lip; saucer on a tapered foot rim, curving into rounded spreading sides; both painted in polychrome enamels with three flower sprays; gilt band and line to lip, gilt foot rim (worn ); handle with a gilt edge and four gilt anthemions.
