Roman intaglio (Ceres)
Oval of heliotrope. Depicts Ceres seated on a stool left. She wears a chiton and a himation; around her head is a fillet or diadem. In her right hand is probably an ear of corn. Her left arm supports her. Behind the goddess is a transverse scepter.
