Eagle Cardiff-Caerdydd (Eagle Cardiff opened on 26 August 2011, and although it traded under the Eagle brand it was individually owned and managed. It became Eclipse in September 2024.
Eagle is an internationally recognised name, with the name inspired by The Eagle’s Nest (a leather bar in New York City). Bar’s that use the name Eagle typically cater to gay men, gay men into leather and other kink subcultures. In 2017 there were over 30 gay bars across the world (in the UK they are in Manchester, London and Newcastle). Each bar is individually owned and managed.)
