Teapot
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, cylindrical body with an angular shoulder and a high vertical neck that has slightly sloping sides, loop handle with a thumb rest and with scroll termination and a spur on the inner surface, curved spout, inverted flat base; the edge of the rim, neck, shoulder, base, spout and handle are decorated with gold bands, the shoulder is banded with a gold wheatsheaf border, the spout is decorated with gold sprigs and gold beads, each side is painted with two birds perching on gold branches.
