Coles & Co, Swansea Earthenware House (1780 - 1790)
Tea jar, drab-coloured creamware, cylindrical, domed top and short recessed neck, standing on a shallow footrim, beading to the foot, shoulders, and base of the neck, decorated in scratch blue with the inscription 'alcy Davies / August ye 21st 1774 within a rectangular cartouche of ovals and tongues.
