Plate, bone china, inset base within a rounded foot-rim, curving spreading sides, the rim scalloped; the upperside of the plate decorated with five exotic butterflies transfer-printed in brown outline and in-filled in browns, pinks and gilt, scattered around the butterflies are sprays and sprigs of flowers and foliage also transfer-printed in outline and in-filled in greens, yellows, pinks and gilt, a gilt edge to the rim.
