Welsh costume shawl
Plaid woollen shawl. Part of a colourful costume worn by a member of the Royal Welsh Ladies Choir in the 1930s. It was designed to stand out on stage. The choir from Pontypridd travelled in north America and Europe and performed in their Welsh costumes. They were selling Wales to the world.
