Tie with woven pattern of diagonal red and green stripes, official Urdd Gobaith Cymru colours.

Weave is a 3/1 twill binding with 1.6cm wide stripes alternating in green and red yarns passing over black warps (?). The fabric is cut on the bias which means that the characteristic diagonal stripes of the twill weave face in a vertical direction (with the red and green pattern stripes themselves on the diagonal). All machine-stitched using black thread. The tie has an interlining made up of a piece of cream and a piece of white tabby woven synthetic fabric.
