Beneath a representation of the cathedral, and within three niches with trefoiled canopies, centre: St. Ethelreda crowned and holding her abbatial staff, between her two husbands, dext. King Ecgfrid of the Northumbrians; sin. the young Tonbehrt, holding a falcon. In field above, to either side: a censer-swinging angel.
