Teapot and cover
Teapot, hybrid-paste porcelain, lobed diamond-shaped form with rounded slightly spreading foot-rim, straight fluted sides, square shoulder, cylindrical neck, slightly fluted curving spout, plain loop handle with ridged moulding along its length, round domed cover with slightly fluted sides, a pine-cone finial to the top of the cover, a pierced steam hole to one side of the cover; painted in polychrome enamels with to the exterior sides of the teapot scattered sprigs and sprays of flowers and foliage, border to the shoulder of the teapot of two entwined ribbons in puce and purple with scattered sprigs of flowers, the same border to the sides of the cover, scattered sprigs of leaves around the top of the cover, a puce band around the exterior neck of the teapot, floral and dot motifs in puce to the spout and the handle, the finial decorated with puce petals radiating out from its centre.
