Roman copper alloy plate brooch
Tinned bronze brooch with trumpet scrolls. The brooch comprises three curvilinear trumpet scrolls placed back to back around a central open triangle. The three scrolls are markedly ridged and there remain traces of silvering. Late 1st-2nd century A.D.
