Small plate, earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, a raised ridge around the well, a band of moulded anthemions to the outer rim; transfer-printed in black with to the centre of the well a rural scene showing three youthful figures playing a game of Blindman's Buff against a background of spreading trees and bushes, black bands around the well and to the rim.
