Seal impression: Bishop of Llandaff
Under a gothic-type canopy, the bishop standing in pontificals on an elaborately decorated and layered corbel, wearing an embroidered and sharply pointed mitre; his left hand raised in blessing; the field diapered lozengy, a rose in each space. In field, two shields of arms: dext. three lions passant guardant, ENGLAND; sin. a stork statant, EGGLESCLIFFE; over the canopy, dext. a small crescent; sin. ?an estoile.
