Tea-caddy and cover
Tea-caddy, hard-paste porcelain, flat base, straight sides, arched shoulder, short narrow cylindrical neck, cover with cylindrical sides and domed top, the finial to the top of the cover is broken off and missing; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front and back of the tea-caddy two landscapes with rivers or lakes, figures, trees, and on one a boat, the landscapes enclosed by rococo borders in blue and gilt, two similar landscapes enclosed by similar borders to the sides of the cover, around the rest of the sides of the tea-caddy and the top of the cover scattered sprigs of naturalistic flowers, gilt lines around the shoulder and the base of the neck on the tea-caddy and around the rim, the edge of the top and the base of the finial on the cover.
