Late Mesolithic flint scraper
A convex-scraper made on a primary cortical pebble of flint. The flint has developed a heavy white patination. The cortex is water-rolled and smooth. The scraper edge is convex in shape with a flake removal interrupting it. It is marginal retouch but has a steep edge to it.

Site Name: Nab Head II, St Brides
Notes: Note that in the excavation seasons 1980, 1981 and 1982 the X axis was numbered alphabetically and the Y axis numerically. In 1986 this was reversed in error resulting in the X axis being numbered numerically and Y axis alphabetically. All the finds were marked during the excavation so are marked by grid square using the site system that was in place at the time. The 1986 finds coordinates have not been corrected.
