Roman samian bowl, decorated
Part of a large leaf scroll with fan shaped leaves and bifid tendril bindings. The tendril binding is like one used by Masclus, while the leaf may be one of his, as on Knorr 1952, Taf. 68. For the general design, compare Knorr 1952, Taf. 70, E and Hawkes and Hull 1947, p. XXXVIII
