Milk jug and cover
Milk jug, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a footring, pear-shaped body, folded spout, scroll handle, domed cover with applied acorn finial; decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt, each side with a spray of flowers, a lily of the valley sprig under spout, neck decorated with a rown border with entwined leaves forming four horse shoe shapes each surrounding a sprig of polychrome flowers and joined by a garland of puce flowers and leaves. Cover decorated with a matching border forming three horse shoe shapes, each with a sprig and joined by puce garlands, handle spout and acorn finial all highlighted in gilt.
