Plate, soup
Soup plate, pale cream-coloured earthenware with a soft greenish-yellow tinge to the glaze, inset base, deep curving sides and spreading rim, a shaped and indented edge with inpressed feathering to the rim; the centre of the well decorated with a classical urn painted in grey enclosed by a green leafy wreath with red, pink and blue flowers and surrounded by floral sprigs, the feathering to the rim overpainted with a blue feathered band. The rim slightly chipped.
