Roman copper alloy headstud brooch
Small brooch with a hinged pin housed in a cylindrical casing and a cast headloop. The headstud lies close to the top of the brooch. The bow is decorated with a plain ridge, flanked by a groove to either side, running down the bow from the head stud and terminating at the transverse mouldings of the lower end of the bow. Below these mouldings is a narrow pinching separating the moulded projecting foot.
