Jug
Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body with horizontal ribbing around the lower body and shoulder, cylindrical neck, beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, scrolled foliate-moulded loop handle with slightly raised thumb-spur; a wide band of copper lustre around the exterior body, this then sprigged in white clay with three small classical designs showing figures, foliage and a goat, a wide copper lustre band around the exterior neck, the underside of the spout covered with pink lustre with a reserved flower head in white, pink lustre bands around the lower body, shoulder, and exterior and interior lip-rim and spout, two pink lustre stripes to the handle.
