Tray, tin-plate, oblong form with deep recurved sides and rounded ends; covered with a black japan to the underside and a crimson japan to the upperside, decorated with around the edge of the well a border of scrolls and around the rim a border of panelled rosettes and stars, all in silver which has now mostly worn off.
