T-shirt 'Pits and Perverts Lesbians & Gay Men Support the Miners 1984-1985'. Produced for the 40th anniversary of the original benefit gig. This is a colourised version of the original produced in 1984. Original card tag attached with rope to manufacturer's label.
T-shirt of white cotton jersey fabric, with side seams. Multi-coloured print across chest in yellow, pink, red and pale blue, depicting a head of a miner (skin printed in pink), wearing a yellow safety helmet, against a stylised British flag in pale blue. Red lipstick lip-print across mouth. White bar across the eyes.
