Chalice
Chalice, silver gilt, mediaeval shape with hexafoil foot with moulded edge rising to hexagonal stem with central knop bearing four lozenge-shaped bosses supporting a six-lobed calyx in which sits a plain rounded bowl; engraved on the calyx, knop and foot with various foliate motifs in variously shaped cartouches with matted grounds, one of these on the foot additionally with a cross to which five differently coloured stones have been applied.
