JOSEWYN (1926gt ) : Coaster laid down as WAR WANDLE in 1919 by J. Crown, Sunderland , but delivered as WHITWOOD to Wm. France , Fenwick & Co., London. 1939 – Sold to Dillwyn Steamship Co., Swansea, and renamed JOSEWYN. She survived a bombing by enemy aircraft on 12 July 1940. 1948 – Sold to Lowgate Steamship Co. Ltd., Hull, and renamed ASHGATE. 1953 – Sold to Liberian Ship Corp., Monrovia, and renamed IKLA. She was broken up at Antwerp in 1959.
